Happy Journey – A Hat trick for Jayasurya and Boban Samuel !!
Boban Samuel became ‘Janapriyan’ again through his latest movie ‘Happy journey’.In his previous films Romans and Janapriyan , Boban can entertained audience by natural comedy but in Happy journey Boban gives most importance to the feelings of human beings and their emotions . The director won to express a blind mans visions and his ambitions through this beautiful movie, Happy Journey.
As per the caption in poster we are all expecting a comedy entertainer like Janpriyan and Romans .But the latest Malayalam movie Happy journey handled an entirely different subject related to family .This movie is a clear cut family entertainer and sometimes, some scenes made our eyes tearful.
The story tells about a blind man Aron’ s ( Jayasurya) love for cricket. He was not a blind by birth. At his childhood he enjoyed his favorite cricket very well. His mother (Lena ) was also very supportive.Her wish was to entertain Aron ‘ s interest in cricket. She also thought that their financial problems must not affect Aron’ s cricket future at any cost. Aron joined a coaching center.He was preparing for join the under 15 cricket team. At that time he became blind due to an accident. But his internal sight become more strong and he wished to make an entry Indian blinds cricket team.
The movie starts with a journey of Aron to Chennai with a cricket bat and during the journey he meets Siya ( Aparna Nair) .Lal is living as the character Gopalakrishnan , a cricket coach in this movie. Balu is playing Aron’s cousin character and Chemban Vinod and Tony are his team mates.
Aasiq Usman, the producer of Happy Journey deserves good applause to take a brilliant attempt . Boban Samuel again proved as a successful director .The music department is safe in Gopi Sundar’ s hand and Jayasurya also sung a beautiful song in this movie after Punyalan Agarbathies . We can see a healthy competition with sound and visual team in this movie . Cinematography and the editing of Happy Journey is also to be mentioned with its brilliant script .
Jayasurya performed his best in the movie Happy Journey and succeeded a hat trick after Punyalan Agarbathies and ‘Philips and the Monkey Pen’ .We can see the acting carrier after his new generation movies . The co-actors Aparna, Lena,Srinda, Lalu Alex, Lal, Balu etc did their job successfully.
In one sentence , we can say Jayasurya’ s Happy journey will give Happy journey to the hearts of the audience and their human feelings…

Ranjith directing a Dulquar movie and producing a Mammootty movie
Ranjith directing a Dulquar movie and producing a Mammootty movie
There are two movies on cards for Ranjith now, A Mammootty movie and a Dulquar movie! Since Ranjith’s Mohanlal project has been cancelled or is uncertain to an extent, Ranjith has decided to move on with one among the young guns of M’Town, Dulquar Salman in his next movie. What makes it more attractive is that Ranjith at the same will produce a Mammootty movie as well.
Ranjith is the producer of the forthcoming Mammootty movie which is to be directed by cinematographer Venu. This movie will be penned by R Unni. This will be the second movie of Venu after Daya.
On the other hand, it was a not a good run for Dulquar in his last twomovies. Both Pattam Pole and Salala Mobiles failed to create an impact and this movie with Ranjith will be a big sigh for the young star to make a good comeback and maintain the spot.

Ohm Shanthi Oshaana Review
Om Shanthi Oshana’ creates another hero with minimum guarantee in Malayalam !
There was a time when Dileep was seen as a minimum guarantee actor who can save a medium budget average movie. Dileep still is a minimum guarantee actor, but a costly one for that matter. Navin Pauly is slowly occupying that space or may be more than that in Malayalam movie industry with his down to earth accessibility and reasonable remuneration. Back to back hits and simultaneous releases are the sign of an emerging star, if we go by that logic the search for next star will end at Nivin Pauly.
Nivin Pauly’ s latest release ‘Om Shanthi Oshana’ is a simple feel good movie which should do well in box office as well. Nivin’s competition this releasing season is himself from the movie1983. Jude Anthony Joseph’s debut attempt tells the story of how a girl feels about love and the possibilities of a charming bubbly girl pursuing her love with determination. Nazriya charms everyone with her performance as Pooja Mathew. Story evolves how Pooja evolves through her life with relation to her friendship, her beautiful relationship with her father Mathew Davis (Renji Panikker) and how her attitude towards life changes.
The story is simple, replace the happy go lucky guy of numerous Malayalam and bollywood and other woods with a girl protagonist. Here also love and rejection plays an important role in the sole searching and attitude changes. You might be able to predict the storyline but the acting and the details of the story makes it a watchable one. Nazriya and Nivin along with the support of Aju and Vineeth Sreenivasan has made this one , a good movie.
Nivin’s portrayal of Giri as a reflexive youngster who doesn’t swayed by flows is impeccable. Script has given depth his character where as other characters are just normal. Dr. Prasad Varkey by Vineeth Srinivasan will be remembered as one of the best roles by him if this movie is catches the imagination of youngsters in the coming days. Renji Panikker can think about developing an acting career. Aju Vargheese is not the normal side kick guy you see in other movies, he is a lovable witty person in this one.
Regarding the technicalities like cinematography, music, BGM, editing etc. They have done a neat job but nothing worthy of special mention. This one is a onetime watch, especially if you are a youngster with issues with love and life. It need not give answers for that, but it will make you feel good.
